APSU Asia Pacific Society of Uro-oncology

As a sub-society of UAA, APSU hosts its own annual symposium during the UAA Conference for the continual improvement of the field of uro-oncology in the Asia Pacific region. In addition, it hosts an annual international symposium with KPS (The Korea Prostate Society). Our society aims to share the most recent knowledge in the field and freely discuss and debate topics of interest to further itself academically. Equally important is our goal to promote networking and cooperation among urologists around the world, especially those practicing in Asia.

Our current President is Dr. JY Lee from The Catholic University of Korea Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital. Our office is located in Seoul, with Ms. SA Lee (apsu@apsu.or.kr) managing secretarial affairs; our official website is www.apsu.or.kr. We welcome anyone to join APSU as a member, regardless of nationality and free of charge. Those interested in becoming a member can send an email to us, and we will process their membership and issue them a certificate.

The official journal of our society is Prostate International (PI), which is published four times a year (March, June, September, and December). PI is open access and is registered in SCI(E) as of 2019, with an impact factor of 2.286.
